In this video, you’ll learn how to diagnose if your toilet is leaking from the flapper. If the toilet flapper is not making a good seal, it could let water, causing your toilet to run.

You can use food coloring to test for a leaking toilet flapper. Just put a couple of drops in the tank at night before you go to bed, then you can check in the morning to see if the colored water has leaked into the bowl. If so, you have a flapper leak in your toilet and will need to replace the flapper.
